Status: Dated for Nov 11, 2027; Ridley Scott has said filming starts around Nov 2026.

Not yet verified: filming start is a director statement as reported by Collider/Screen Rant (Aug 2026), not a studio announcement.

Ridley Scott directs Hugh Jackman as Long John Silver and Owen Cooper as Jim Hawkins. The book is a public-domain classic and a short read.
